Equipment Donations:

AACF needs equipment for its University classrooms and for administration. Currently we are in great need of the following equipment: Laptop and Digital Camera Needed Motor Vehicles - 4WD vehicles, cars, motorcycles, computers (Pentium 2 or better), computer parts and Agricultural equipment and supplies. Project Support: Power Supply at MVU

Donations needed to run generator MVU, located as it is in rural Cambodia, does not have access to a constant power supply. Power needs are met by the use of a 60KVA generator run by diesel fuel, an extremely expensive undertaking. Fuel prices are as expensive in Cambodia as they are in other parts of the world and MVU is constantly in need of funds to buy fuel to run the generator. Specific donations for this purpose would be greatly appreciated and can be made directly to AACF through our online payment system. Project Support: Flood Bund Project

The Main Campus of MVU is located in a flood plain in close proximity to the right bank of the Chou River. The University has been subject to yearly flooding caused by the Mekong River floods, though in the last three years flooding has not occurred owing to drought conditions in the region. Project Support: Sustainable Agriculture Requests

With the support of AACF, MVU has been particularly successful in developing agricultural projects which benefit the local MVU community. Working at the Popeil Land project and with the support of both the Royal Government and Samdech Chea Sim as well as Australian Aid agency AusAID, the Cambodian Agricultural Research Fund and the Rotary Club of Melbourne, AACF has been instrumental in obtaining funds for research projects. ...read more
